The downtown Bluffton area is HOT. In the last few years the area has morphed from a sleepy town before the bridge to Hilton Head Island to an active downtown destination with an urban feel. From outdoor music at several venues such as The Old Town Dispensary and Captain Woody's to Wine Bars such as, Corks, Vineyard 55 and Latitudes to Bluffton's newest neighborhood sports bar The Infield.
The Promenade and Calhoun Street development have breathed new life into downtown Bluffton Festivals, outdoor events, a Farmers Market and more regularly bring activity to the downtown area.
Downtown Bluffton is a walking and active golf cart friendly town. There are live/work options of living at the Promenade & Bluffton Village, and planned community living such as Bluffton Park, Stock Farm, Tabby Roads and Bluffton's newest community under development, Kirk's Bluff all within walking distance to the action. Outside the planned communities, houses along the downtown streets are also excellent options for convenient living to downtown. If you aren't a walker, buy a street legal golf cart and join the locals in navigating the downtown streets.
